Problem
The challenge was to create a pop-up experience that honored the legacy of the Detroit Red Wings while staying true to Sana’s streetwear identity. We needed to design something that spoke to both die-hard hockey fans and the fashion-forward crowd, all within the high-energy setting of Little Caesars Arena.
Solution
We developed a bold visual identity that merged the Red Wings' historic iconography with Sana’s modern edge. I led the design of the merch graphics and event visuals to create a cohesive, immersive brand experience. The limited-edition pieces and pop-up space bridging the gap between sports and street culture.
Research Points
Our team pulled inspiration from vintage Red Wings memorabilia, Detroit street art, and fan culture. We studied in-arena activations, crowd flow, and merchandise engagement to inform layout and design decisions. Feedback from past Sana drops helped guide what would resonate with our audience and stand out on game day.
